Dorset law firm Coles Miller has recently appointed three new trainee solicitors.
Rajinder Somal is originally from Wolverhampton and just recently moved to Bournemouth. He studied at Queen Mary’s University of London and completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham. Up until recently he was helping to run the family business in Swansea.
Joining him is Carly Brown, a local girl who went to Corfe Hills School in Broadstone. Carly studied at Cardiff University before doing her LPC at Bournemouth. She has a good legal background having undertaken lots of temping assignments before starting her training contract.
The final graduate to join the firm has been recruited internally. Matthew Martin is originally from Berkshire and came down to Bournemouth 10 years ago and completing his Law Degree and LPC in 2003. Matthew joined Coles Miller in 2005 and worked in the Personal Injury Department (RTA Division) prior to commencing his training contract.
Coles Miller has a long tradition of taking on graduates and offers several coveted training contracts each year. David Parfitt, Partner and Training Principle at Coles Miller, says, “The standard of graduates coming to us is very high and they have great enthusiasm for training for a career in the field of law. Many of the graduates stay on with us once they qualify, which contributes greatly to the solid team culture within the firm.”
