Coles Miller Solicitors, sponsors of the Poole Quay Dream Machines, have teamed up with local company, Bikers Legal Defence, the UK’s leading Motorcycle Claims Management Company, to provide motorcyclists with a complete one-stop service to support them in the event of an accident.

62% of motorcycle road traffic accidents are caused by other road users – usually a car driver who simply does not see the motorcyclist. If the accident was not your fault Coles Miller can help by giving you expert advice on your motorcycle accident claim, assisting you in getting back on the road and obtaining accident compensation for any personal injury you may have suffered, the damage that your motorcycle may have sustained, and any other items such as lost earnings and medical expenses.

Their new partnership with Bikers Legal Defence (BLD), who are based in Ringwood and Hurn, enables them to rapidly provide their clients with a replacement motorcycle as well as BLD’s storage and insurance approved repair capabilities, while their damaged bike is stored or repaired. BLD are also one of the UK’s largest motorcycle repair specialists, with fully equipped workshops including a brand new state of the art paint shop and custom graphics capabilities providing full UK coverage in four locations including Ringwood and Hurn.

Phil Sherwood, Head of Coles Miller’s specialist motorcycle claims department explains, “We met the team from BLD at the Poole Quay Bike Nights. It just seemed logical to bring our specialism’s together and provide our clients with a more comprehensive all round service - a “one stop shop” for them to get everything resolved as simply and rapidly as possible.”

Working on a no win no fee basis, Coles Miller will assess the claim, deal with third party insurers and arrange to get them back on the road again with BLD’s help.

Coles Miller win 99% of their claims but many people do not realise that they don’t have to use the solicitors or claims management companies recommended by their insurers. “A lot of people would like to use a local firm” says Phil, “but are not offered the choice by their insurers or brokers who will insist upon their panel solicitors.
