It's not often you'll see members of the legal profession dressed in pink but that's exactly what happened on Friday 27th October when Dorset law firm took part in Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink Day.
Over one hundred kind-hearted staff members from each of the firm’s four offices in Poole, Bournemouth and Broadstone, proudly turned pink for the day to support the national initiative, held as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Items of pink clothing were donned, cakes were bought and sold, and a second-hand book and DVD sale was also held in the offices to help swell the coffers.
Coles Miller Marketing Manager Hayley Baverstock, who organised the day said: "We asked every staff member – male and female, to wear something pink on the day, be it shirt, jumper, tie, socks – anything! It was business as usual but we thought that this was an excellent way of raising awareness and funds for such a worthwhile cause, and at the same time having a bit of fun ourselves!"
The local law firm raised over £220 which will go towards Breast Cancer Campaign’s continued efforts into breast cancer research.
