Dorset law firm Coles Miller has recently announced the appointment of newly qualified solicitor Mike Ellis to their commercial department.

Mike, who successfully completed his two-year training contract with the firm, will be based at the firm’s Poole office as part of its highly respected Commercial litigation department led by partner Neil Andrews.

Mike, who hails from Southampton, gained his law degree at Southampton and then went onto complete his Legal Practice Certificate at Guildford College of Law. He worked for a local firm in Southampton before joining Coles Miller in September 2005.

“We are delighted for Mike as he has worked very hard and is thoroughly deserving of his achievement.” Says David Parfitt, Training Partner at Coles Miller. “Each year we take on a number of new graduates and it is great to see them qualify and move into practice within the firm.”

Coles Miller has one of the largest commercial departments in the Dorset region and boasts a highly experienced team who regularly act on behalf of local and national business, large and small. Mike becomes the twelfth qualified member of the team.
