Dorset law firm Coles Miller are pleased to announce the return of family lawyer Colin Mitchell.
After completing his training contract with Coles Miller, Colin has returned seven years later to join the firms’ dedicated family department at the Poole office.
Colin studied his law degree and legal practice course at Exeter University and once completing his training course with Coles Miller, became a solicitor at Perrins Stevenson in Poole, covering family law and other general litigation. From there he moved onto Pengillys in Weymouth, once again continuing his interest in family law.
Colin is also a member of Resolution, an organisation of almost 5000 members, made up of lawyers and family justice professionals, who believe in a practical, non confrontational approach to family law matters, who seek to find improvements to the family law system. In July 2005, he achieved Resolution specialist accreditation in family law, with particular emphasis in children and cohabitation law.
He will be working alongside partner Mary Pearce and is the fourth member of the Coles Miller’s family team.
Colin is married with a young son and in their spare time the family enjoy walking in the Purbecks and New Forest.
