You may have a claim for personal injury compensation due to one of the following types of accidents. These are the most common but if you are in doubt whether you have a claim simply call our specialist team for advice.
Accidents with other vehicles
- A vehicle pulls out from a side road
- A vehicle turns right across your path
- Your are hit by [or fall off trying to avoid] another vehicle
- A vehicle hits you from behind [or while overtaking]
- A vehicle overtakes you and then turns left
Pot holes or defective road surfaces
The majority of the motorcycle accident compensation claims that we deal with involve a collision with a vehicle, but motorbike riders are also vulnerable to accidents caused by defects on the road surface such as road damage, mud, oil, or other spillages on the road. In such cases, a claim for motorbike accident compensation may lie against the party responsible for the spillage (e.g. building contractor) or the local authority responsible for maintaining the road.
In order to make a successful claim for your accident, there are certain things we have to establish and will need as much information as possible about the surrounding circumstances, for example, how long the defect had been there, if anyone else had reported it, whether you already knew it was there etc.
