Training Contract
Applications for a training contract commencing in September 2013 will open on 1st May 2012. The deadline for all applications is 31st May 2012.
In order to apply, you must provide your final or predicted final law degree results and whether you have been accepted onto an LPC.
Applicants should have a strong academic record and be on target for a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree result or higher.
If you have undertaken an alternative route to qualification, you will need to be able to supply us with appropriate details and qualification results.

Claims Handler Vacancy – Maternity Cover
We are currently recruiting for someone to join our Road Traffic Accident team based at our Poole Offices. This role is offered on a full time basis working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will commence in March 2012.
The key responsibilities of this role are to recover uninsured losses arising from road traffic accidents. The successful candidate will be working on a case management system and manage an existing caseload from the start.

Full Time Legal Secretary – Commercial Property
We require a full-time Legal Secretary to join our Commercial Property team at our Poole office working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. You will be working for the partner in charge of the property team and be responsible for preparing accurate documents, correspondence and reports as well as diary management, filing, scanning and photocopying.
You will be in a position to demonstrate a high standard of client care using audio typing and IT skills and when dealing with a wide range of commercial clients. The successful applicant will use their initiative, be able to work without supervision and be able to respond to deadlines as required.

Clinical Negligence Assistant Solicitor
We are looking to recruit a full time Clinical Negligence Assistant Solicitor, to work in our Poole office.
The successful candidate will provide and undertake fee-earning work ensuring a profitable contribution to the work of the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a case load of Clinical Negligence cases.
- Assess new cases as to prospects and to review as appropriate.
- Liaise with and instruct third parties including the Defendants, their insurers and representatives; medical experts and Counsel.
- Considering and advising upon medical records.
- Drawing Letters of Claim.
- Prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing. Secretarial support is provided.
- To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- To prepare matters for the issue of Court proceedings and general conduct up to and including attending Court Hearings and Trial.
- Researching case law, Regulations and Guidelines as required and presenting that information in a suitable format.
- Considering and advising upon liability, causation and quantum.

In addition you will be undertaking research, drafting legal documents and will have extensive contact with clients and other professionals.
