Conveyancing Solicitors Welcome Help To Buy's Early Launch30th Sep 2013
The early launch of Help To Buy is going to turbocharge a Bournemouth and Poole property market that’s already accelerating nicely.
David Cameron’s decision to launch five per cent deposit mortgages three months early is a welcome boost.
Our Bournemouth and Poole residential conveyancing solicitors are already very busy and the Prime Minister’s announcement will further bolster a market already growing in confidence.
The Treasury’s £12 billion to help buyers has already been available for new build homes since April.
Now it is being extended to other properties – ahead of the original January 1 2014 launch date.
Mr Cameron said he could not stand by and watch people’s property ownership dreams be “trashed” by the high cost of deposits.
From property solicitors’ point of view, a Help To Buy transaction will be slightly more complicated to administer than one which does not involve the scheme.
But we applaud the fact that Help To Buy is coming into force quicker than expected. Critics who fear a property bubble may be a little premature with their warnings.
