Growing Demand For Our London Leasehold Legal Advice17th Aug 2016
It’s no secret that the London residential leasehold property market keeps our solicitors busy – and now it’s getting even busier.
Not least because our proposition is so compelling:
- get expert specialist legal advice on residential leasehold property
- benefit from our extensive experience of the London market
- but pay only provincial rates because our solicitors are based in Bournemouth.
We work for clients all over London (and the rest of the UK) but recently Finchley has proven to be a hotspot.
Much of our Finchley work – referred to us by managing agents – has been on behalf of Residents Management Companies (RMCs).
This generally involves our lease extension solicitors but one case in NW3 centred on helping a new manager at a block to deal with an application to carry out works.
Meanwhile, in nearby Hendon NW4 we worked through managing agents to deal with applications for licences for consent to carry out works.
In another case, we advised a leaseholder regarding a lease extension on a property in prime central London: behind Tate Britain, Westminster.
And in Leyton E10, we assisted leaseholders with deeds of variation.
Other leasehold legal advice offered by our lawyers includes: buying the freehold, right to manage, lease variations, right of first refusal and dealing with restrictive covenants.
