Harry Paye Day Pirate Fun With Coles Miller16th Jun 2014
Poole’s annual Harry Paye Day pirates spectacular will be better than ever this year thanks to sponsorship from Coles Miller.
Saturday June 21st (the longest day) will see Poole Quay transformed with a pirates’ parade, cannon fire, live music, street entertainers, rides, morris dancing and shanty singing.
Everyone will be teaming up to commemorate the colourful life and times of Harry Paye, Poole’s very own 15th century buccaneer.
All the swashbuckling festivities will be in aid of three great local causes: the Lewis-Manning Hospice, Diverse Abilities Plus and Victoria School.
Coles Miller is one of a number of sponsors and supporters joining forces to make this popular family event a success.
Others include Skills & Learning (Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole), BCF Steward Team, the Borough of Poole, Bournemouth Borough Council and Dorset County Council.
