Coles Miller Supports Poole Charity Dragon Boat Race16th Jul 2014
Coles Miller Solicitors are teaming up with Goadsby to support this Sunday’s annual Poole Dragon Boat Race in aid of Diverse Abilities Plus.
Coles Miller and Goadsby will be entering the race with a joint team of paddlers to help raise funds for the charity which helps children and adults with physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
The race will be held at Poole Park boating lake. Each boat taking part will comprise a crew of 16 paddlers and a drummer (plus up to three reserves if needed).
Paddlers from Coles Miller will include Broadstone conveyancing Partner Ruth Kerley and Poole medical negligence associate Lydia Barnett.
Thirteen local teams have entered the event, which is set to raise more than £15,000 for Diverse Abilities Plus.
Paddlers will be racing throughout the day in a series of heats starting at around 10am. Prizes will be awarded to the winners at around 3.30pm.
