Poole Quay was blessed with glorious sunshine for the opening night of Coles Miller Dream Machines, with around 600 bikers turning up to mark the start of the 26 week season.
Plenty of spectators on Poole Quay, enjoying the Easter holidays, helped to create a lively atmosphere last night. Congratulations to Jim Thomson from Waterlooville, who rode away with the ‘Bike of the Night’ title on his Triumph. The judge for the evening was Natalie Steele, a representative from event sponsor Coles Miller Solicitors. Natalie chose this machine because of it’s distinctive features, the focal point being the signature of ‘Steve McQueen’. Jim has owned this Triumph replica for 8 months.
Jim rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off and he will also be invited to take part in the “Bike of the Year” finale at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.
