Look Out For Each Other With Coles Miller Safety Poster Contest14th Nov 2014
Leading local law firm Coles Miller is giving more than 20,000 Dorset schoolchildren the chance to create a great new road safety poster.
The winning design will be seen by thousands of Cherries fans at AFC Bournemouth match days - and will net its young creator a framed shirt signed by the players.
The young winner will also be invited to a game at the Cherries’ stadium to see their prizewinning poster on display for all the fans to see.
Coles Miller has launched the competition to coincide with Road Safety Week which runs from November 17-23 - this year’s theme is Look Out For Each Other.
Coles Miller Marketing Manager Lee Taylor said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for the county’s youngsters to show off all their great design ideas.
“We know from experience there’s some real artistic talent out there because we’ve had such a great response to previous competitions that we’ve run for children.
“And we’re sure that this year will be bigger and better than ever - we can’t want to see all the entries!” he added.
The free poster competition is running in conjunction with the Coles Miller Soccer Safety School which uses football training at AFC Bournemouth to reinforce the positive messages the children learn at the LV=Streetwise safety centre in West Howe.
To enter the competition, children must be aged from Year 1 to Year 6. Entries must be on a sheet of A4 paper. The safety message should be based around the theme Look Out For Each Other.
