I used Ruth Elkins of Coles Miller Broadstone for the conveyancing of my late mother's house in Broadstone. I have moved house myself several times but never used Coles Miller before. I wish I had! It was the most stress-free and efficient house conveyancing I have experienced and everyone I encountered in the office was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Coles Miller to anyone.
Ruth qualified as a solicitor in September 2002 and is a partner within the residential conveyancing department. Her practice covers all areas of buying and selling houses, remortgage work and transfers of equity following death, divorce or simply resulting from a gift. Ruth provides a clear, timely, easy to understand, friendly and efficient service to all of her clients to take the stress out of moving home.
Ruth was made partner in 2007 and assisted in enabling Coles Miller to become the 100th firm in the country to be accepted on the Conveyancing Quality Scheme. She undertakes work under the My Home Move Panel for Conveyancing and the Law Firm Services Panel and has an excellent rapport with local estate agents, brokers and other property professionals.
Outside work Ruth enjoys dancing, socialising, music and extreme sports. She also has a passion for raising money for various cancer charities and has undertaken an average of three events per year since joining Coles Miller. These events have included skydiving, running the London marathon (four times thus far) and even a Business Come Dancing competition dressed as the pink panther! Ruth has two sons (Ben and Stevie) and lives locally.
