Brownsea Open Air Theatre (BOAT) will raise the curtain on its Coles Miller supported production of The Tempest on Wednesday July 22.
Shakespeare’s epic story of life, art, revenge and forgiveness comes to Brownsea Island for an eight-night run which ends on Friday August 7.
All eight nights are sold out but return tickets could become available.
It is the fourth year running that Coles Miller has supported BOAT’s high quality theatrical productions: Henry IV (2014), A Midsummer Night’s Dream & Pericles (2013) and Love’s Labour’s Lost (2012).
Coles Miller is also a keen supporter of the National Trust which cares for Brownsea Island plus many other Dorset landmarks.
Coles Miller Marketing Department said: “Brownsea Open Air Theatre’s productions are a much-loved tradition in Dorset and one that we are delighted to support.”
For Brownsea Open Air Theatre, The Tempest holds a special significance - it happened to be the first ever play staged by the company back in 1964, one that it performed again in 1980, 1988 and 2000.
