Coles Miller’s Residential Leasehold Department is expanding with the addition of newly qualified solicitor Nick Leedham.

Nick will be helping clients all over the country with a wide range of residential leasehold legal services including:Nick Leedham

  • buying the freehold
  • extending the lease
  • right to manage
  • right of first refusal
  • service charge disputes
  • breaches of covenant

Nick graduated from Bournemouth University with a distinction on his Legal Practice Course, having already gained a degree in Biomedical Sciences at Plymouth University.
His training at Coles Miller included wills and probate at the Broadstone office and conveyancing in Bournemouth.

But it was residential leasehold work that became his chosen specialism: “I enjoy the fact that there are two elements to it – contentious and non-contentious – so you get the best of both worlds,” he said.

Head of the Residential Leasehold Department, Associate Solicitor Matthew Lewis said: “Nick is a great addition to our specialist department.

"He has a huge amount of enthusiasm and is very interested in this exciting, developing area of law,” he added.

Nick’s father, Senior Partner Roger Leedham said: “I am extremely pleased that yet another of our trainee solicitors has decided to join us on a permanent basis following on from Zoe Bartholomew last month.

“We are growing a pool of very talented young lawyers.  I am also naturally very pleased that Nick will be continuing the Leedham family connection with Coles Miller.”
