Coles Miller Managing Partner Adrian Cormack has again been accredited as Dorset’s only specialist brain injury solicitor.

Mr Cormack, head of Coles Miller’s Personal Injury Department, is one of only four solicitors in the South West to hold the accreditation – and one of only 58 in England, Scotland and Wales.

His accreditation comes from the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). He is also named as an APIL Senior Litigator.

Mr Cormack and his team help people who have suffered serious head and brain injuries to claim compensation to fund their treatment, care and rehabilitation.

He said: “Dorset is believed to have one of the highest proportions of people with serious head and brain injuries in the country.”

Reasons for this include the number of country roads where the speed limit is the national maximum.

Dorset also has a larger-than-average number of people employed in agriculture – the UK industry named by the Health and Safety Executive as having the worst record for workplace injuries.

Mr Cormack is on the Personal Injury Panel at Headway (the brain injury association) and was the Chairman of Trustees for 15 years at Headway Dorset.
