Dorset Dockers rugby team will be scrumming down at Bournemouth 7s festival this Bank Holiday weekend with help from Coles Miller Solicitors.

Coles Miller will be officially supporting the Dockers’ sevens shirt when they take on their rivals at Chapel Gate, East Parley.

Coles Miller Senior Partner Roger Leedham got into the spirit by leading an impromptu game of rugby outside the firm’s head office in Parkstone Road, Poole.

Dorset Dockers play at Potterne Park, Verwood. Their first and second teams have between them gained promotion every season since the club’s formation in 2013.

Their head coach is Crispin Cormack, a former rugby international who is now a litigation executive in the Personal Injury Department at Coles Miller.

His work includes handling compensation claims for concussion, post concussion syndrome and other sporting injuries.

“We all love rugby but it’s vitally important to play safely using the RFU’s Return To Play After Concussion protocol,” he said.

Rugby concussion is a brain injury. It must be diagnosed and treated correctly just like any other sporting injury,” he added.

Coles Miller is recommended in the Legal 500 guide to Britain’s top lawyers for its expertise and experience in handling serious head and brain injury compensation claims.

Earlier this month Coles Miller backed Action for Brain Injury Week (May 9-15 2016) by promoting concussion awareness in grassroots and junior sport.
