Get Marriage Separation Advice From A 'Help and Support for Separated Families' Solicitor25th Jul 2014
If you are contemplating or going through marriage separation, there’s something new that can help – the Help and Support for Separated Families (HSSF) standard.
It’s a quality mark that you can trust when looking for solicitors for divorce or separation.
Coles Miller Partner Emma Hamilton Cole has just become the first solicitor at the firm to gain accreditation. She leads our team of family lawyers in Bournemouth and Poole.
HSSF solicitors specialise in resolving conflict among couples that are separating and in helping them to focus on their children
This can involve mediation, collaborative law or other means of dispute resolution that help to avoid the stress and expense of going to court – as well as keeping control of the discussion firmly within the family.
The aim is make separation and divorce less acrimonious and to minimise the impact on the children, whose interests always come first.
HSSF accreditation can be issued by family law association Resolution to members with a specific level of expertise in dispute resolution. It is also available to other professionals working in the field. They can apply for accreditation directly.
The HSSF programme has been designed to improve the integration of support services so that separated parents can co-operate in the best interests of their children.
