HIP's SCRAPPED19th Apr 2012

by on 19th Apr 2012

The Coalition Government has suspended Home Information Packs (HIP's).

HIP's were introduced in 2007 in England and Wales. The aim was to speed up the house selling process by obliging the seller to provide much of the conveyancing information prior to marketing their property. This immediate suspension of HIP's will free up sellers to market their properties without delay.

All that will now be required is a simple energy report.
