Coles Miller Partner Adrian Cormack has been named an Accredited Brain Injury Specialist by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

The accreditation demonstrates “a very high standard of expertise and competence” in this complex and highly specialist area of the law.APIL brain injury specialist Adrian Cormack of Coles Miller

Mr Cormack, who leads the Personal Injury Department at Coles Miller, is the only solicitor in Dorset with this accreditation.

He has been an APIL Senior Litigator for a number of years, along with fellow Coles Miller Partners David Simpson and Chris Whittle who are both clinical negligence specialists.

Mr Cormack said: “Serious head and brain injury cases require specialist legal knowledge. They can take several years to resolve.

“For this reason we always aim to secure swift interim compensation payments for the victims to fund their treatment and care while their cases progress.”

He added: “Winning a case is only the beginning. As a brain injury law firm, we provide expert assistance with clients’ long term needs - such as setting up and managing personal injury trusts to help them manage their compensation,” he added.

As well being accredited by APIL, Coles Miller is also approved by Headway (the brain injury association) which provides information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers across the UK. Adrian Cormack is chairman of the trustees at Headway Dorset.
