There are various different options when it comes to the best set up for your development. Depending on the circumstances, you may decide you want to:
- sell each individual unit/plot in totality
- sell each unit with a longer lease at a set price
- grant a short term lease where the tenant pays a rent.
There may be communal areas to consider and we can advise on the different legal options relating to ownership and maintenance of these areas once the development is completed. We are also experienced in setting up long leases on residential flats which preserve the value of the freehold.
