Partner, Head of Commercial Department and Business Property Law
Commercial Law, Disputes & Litigation, Employment Law, Residential Leasehold
In 2015 we instructed Neil Andrews of Coles Miller to facilitate the execution of a pre-negotiated legal document so that we would be paid for our stock. This seemingly simple transaction became complicated when the organisation’s initial response was to utilise their lawyers rather than pay us. Neil was tenacious in fighting our cause. His eye for detail saved our money and we eventually received all money owed to us, without compromise. Tellingly, our original investors who also were extracting their money through their own alternative solicitors told me that they wish they had used Coles Miller. I would recommend Coles Miller without hesitation.
Neil qualified as a solicitor in October 1995, after completing his training contract at Coles Miller. He was made a partner at the firm in 1999. Neil is a Commercial Litigator dealing with variety of commercial disputes in the County Court, High Court and Employment Tribunals. He specialises business and property law and employment work including representing employees and employers at Employment Tribunals, including some of the area's largest employers from 1995 to date. Neil also advised in residential leasehold disputes.
Neil is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and a Director at AECC Enterprises Limited. He is also a Trustee at Age Concern Christchurch and SafeWise in Bournemouth. Neil is a former Trustee of Poole Citizens Advice Bureau and a former Chair of Trustees at Friends of Forest Holme, a local hospice charity and a former trustee at Safewise an educational charity specialising in safety.
